Q: How do I reserve a date?
A: There are two ways to reserve a date. One is by visiting our website at candidkidmoments.com and clicking on “Schedule Your Event.” The second is by calling us at (614) 270-6413 and we would be happy to talk your through the process. Please note that a $25 deposit is required to guarantee your date.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: YES. We require a $25 deposit at the time of your booking which will apply to your package total. Your deposit will be forfeited if you should need to cancel and do not provide us with a 24-hour advance notice.
Q: How long does it take to receive my photos?
A: We will make every effort to provide you with a slideshow and CD within ten days of your event. We require at least three to five hours of editing and processing in order to provide you with a quality product, therefore, we feel that ten days is a reasonable amount of time for us to deliver everything to you at the same time (CD, slideshow, note cards).
Q: How many photos will I receive?
A: We will take AT LEAST 100 photos while we are at your event. We will usually take twice that amount to ensure that you receive 100 quality edited photos on your CD and slideshow.
Q: Will you provide black and white photos if requested?
A: Yes. If you let us know up front that you would like all or some photos in black and white, we would be happy to include black and white photos in your package.
Q: What is the maximum number of children you will photograph?
A: We will photograph any number of children that your request without additional cost – just keep in mind that the more children that you ask us to photograph, the fewer photos you will receive of each child. For example, if you ask us to photograph four children, you will probably receive 25-30 pictures of each child as opposed to if we were only photographing two children, you would receive 50-60 pictures of each child.
Q: What if I am not satisfied with my photos, what guarantee do you provide?
A: If by chance you are not happy with your photos, we will make every effort to rectify the situation. We will work with you to come up with a solution that fits your needs. For example, we will attend another event, free of charge. Or if it was a one time event, we will review other photos from the event to see if we can provide you with additional shots from the occasion. If such solutions are not satisfactory, a full refund will be provided.
Q: What if my event is within 24 hours of when I call?
A: We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate you. If you contact us and we are available, we will be there! Please call us at (614) 270-6413 if you need to schedule an event for the next day - do not rely on form submission.
Q: What if my event is outside the Columbus area?
A: We will take all events into consideration. That being said, we will also have to charge for our travel time to and from the event. If you would like to book our services for any distance further than 20-30 minutes from Powell, Ohio, we will charge $25 per hour of travel.
Q: What if I want you to stay longer than the allotted time?
A: We would be happy to stay at your event for as long as you need us to be there. Our rate per hour above and beyond the package price is $25 – this includes the hours that it would take to edit and process additional photos on the back end. For example: If you requested us for August and received the $99 Summer Special – but you wanted us to stay at your event for three hours – it would be an additional $25 (1 hour) for the event and an additional $50 (2 hours) for editing, bringing your total to $174.
Q: Are there any extra costs involved?
A: If you purchase a package, the listed price for that package is all that you will incur. If you decide to alter the package, extra costs will apply (i.e. additional time at your event)
Q: What if I need a photo service that I don't see listed on your site?
A: Please feel free to contact us with any/all questions regarding photography, editing, Photoshop, uploading pictures, creating digital albums, cataloging your photos or anything photo-related and we will do our best to help you.
